Welcome to the website of the Rotary Club of Valley Isle Sunset!

Being the newest Rotary club on Maui, and the only “Sunset” club on the island, we have a great opportunity to innovate and create a unique experience for our members and guests.

In this coming Rotary year, I and my fellow club members are committed to making sure our club is known as a forum for inspiration, involvement, friendship and fun.  Whether we are helping children in need, or taking on local and international community service projects, it does not matter.  Our focus this year will be on turning traditional Rotary projects of the past into eagerly anticipated social events admired by all. Our club’s success will depend on ensuring that the word gets out to a completely new generation that being a Rotarian is F-U-N! 

Because we meet at the end of the work day, members and attendees will appreciate that we are designating the last Thursday of each month as a “Pau Hana” night of socializing and refreshment.  We will depart from our normal club venue and meet at a different restaurant to relax in a less formal forum and enjoy the gift of friendship and share our experiences.  We want all members and guests to come and let their hair down, brainstorm about the future, and create some “Rotary Moments”.

For all of those trying to decide on whether to join Rotary, we want to be the easiest club to attend, and the club you most want to join.  Everyone with a desire to improve your community and aid those in need around the world will find a ready place for them with Rotary, and we can be your first stop on your way home.
